WHO WE ARE

Power Speaks Louder (PSL) is a multidimensional non-profit organization that administers seven programs and services to educate, empower, and transform the lives of youth in crisis, low-income families, and the homeless.

WHAT WE DO

PSL was founded in 2016 to impact underserved communities by empowering social-emotional development paired with need-specific resources. Motivational messaging, outreach food distribution, health and wellness, artistic installation experiences, creative arts, inspirational film, and collectible products are the various ways PSL meets the diverse needs of people locally and globally.

FOUNDER/CEO

B. Hunter is an Emmy Award-winning visionary, Motivational Speaker, and Founder of Power Speaks Louder (PSL). As the Executive Producer and Director of the acclaimed documentary Still Standing, she is committed to transforming the lives of underserved communities through the Power of Words and Action.

Since 2016, she has led PSL in providing essential resources, including Community & Street Outreach food distributions bearing the message “Who Cares? We Do!” and the PSL Evolve Walk/Run Club promoting health and wellness.

In recognition of its impact, PSL was named the 2025 California Nonprofit of the Year for the 31st District. B. Hunter’s philanthropic efforts provide vital support to families, youth, and the unhoused throughout Riverside County and beyond.

Her mission is to inspire individuals to reach their full potential while fostering community, growth, and resilience through programs that create lasting change. She has also been honored with multiple local, state, and legislative awards recognizing her leadership and lasting contributions to the community.
